Finally got around to writing up a great section hike I took with my wife through the Roan Highlands 3 years ago. We had perfect weather on the balds, and for once I took some fairly decent photos.

Nice! I remember showing up to Clyde Smith Shelter with trembling legs, learning where the spring was, and nearly sobbing… :) Thanks for the memories!
LOL Peter, it seems like EVERY time I get to an AT shelter in that condition, the water source is far down a deep holler.
