Hey everyone, first time poster here. I’m planning to do the Grand Canyon’s Tanner Trail -> Escalante Route -> New Hance Trail. I’m planning to park at Moran Point, then I was hoping to get a ride to slip an Point to start the hike. Would anyone be willing to give me a ride, Sunday morning at 7 AM, from Moran Point? Thanks!
Can’t help with the lift (I am in New York) but and friend and I had luck thumbing a ride.
We parked at the pull out off the south side of the east canyon drive, about 1/8 mile east of the New Hance trailhead, saddled the packs and started walking toward Moran Point. We got picked up after about 20 minutes. It was maybe 9am.
However you manage the shuttle, the Escalante Route is a great 3-4 day GCNP route.
