How do I incorporate food resupplies into my 20 day trip.(Emerald Bay to Lassen NP)  The app shows me starting out with pack weight including food for the entire trip.  I plan to make 3 or 4 resupplies along the way which I suspect would greatly impact all of the risk results.

Chris – the resupply module is not yet turned on, we need to insure stability in the core during beta first. Once that’s insured, We’ll activate it. Maybe next week if all goes well.

How it works: you’ll add a resupply point along your route which of course will affect downstream calculations for calorie plans and pack weight load effects.

Thanks for your quick response. I originally set my camps at approximately 13 miles apart but now with the detailed info you posted earlier today I will modify my daily mileage between camps to mitigate fatigue, risk etc.  Pretty cool so far.

Any update on resupply points?  It seems I’d have to split my GPX into resupply sections as a work-around, or my pack weight will be incorrect, but that would assume that I’m starting with no cumulative load each section.  Pretty cool tool!

Update: the resupply module is complete, validation/testing has passed, and will be deployed to TRIPS users on Tuesday, April 28 Thursday, April 30 (delayed due to a family medical emergency).
