There’s an REI 20% off sale coming later this month. Anybody know – or better yet, have experience with – if the Garmin products are exempt from the sale? Looking at a watch and wondering if waiting is worth it. Thanks for any info!

REI sales usually exclude a bunch of stuff, including “any device with GPS” or similar wording.
But it’s worth trying for the discount anyway – sometimes they misclassify products.

Don’t forget that REI dividends get distributed this month (March)!

got mine in the mail today, so i assume they’re in the system.
I just got off the phone with my REI.
Dividend is already live online.
20% off begins March 22nd and runs through April 8.
If you read the fine print on the website, anything with GPS technology is excluded from the 20% coupon. That has been the case for as far back as recent memory serves. You might want to have another use for that coupon.
