Advice on gear. Switching to more of an ultralight. Getting a C-4 to C-7 fusion next week. Like to cut some weight. Looking at arc air dcf and arc blast as well. Frames are the carbon and I believe fiberglass. Thoughts on this. Also does the back pocket take a tent. 50L size would work if I can put the tent on the outside. Have the duplex and Stratosphere LI. Bag will be Katabatic flex 15. Could go lighter, but it is well made. Pad will be thermarest xlite, around 16 ounces. Figuring baseweight around 10 pounds. Age 65, major back surgery coming up. Planning on continuing. Tahoe rim trail next August after 10 months of rehab. Thoughts are appreciated. Many thanks to a great group.
