Hi there. I’m looking for any recommendations for a good  Ultralight 3-person tent (Free standing, 3-season). Was considering perhaps Big Agnes Copper Spur UL3.  Any other suggestions/recommendations greatly appreciated.  Thx!

(Btw, I’m somewhat new to BPL, so please forgive me if this topic has already been discussed in a different post)

Do you need a tent that will actually fit 3 adults comfortably?

If so, IMO it is best to bump up to a 4-person.

Now it might seem my recommendation is a bit self-serving because I happen to have a Big Agnes Fly Creek 4 for sale at a very reasonable price, but I think it is solid advice nonetheless.   :^)

Different from the CS because it has 1 door, but being a larger tent the door is correspondingly large, and it is somewhat lighter in weight than the CS.

It is a brand new with tags FC UL4 with matching BA footprint, neither of which has ever been removed from original stuff sacks, $300 including shipping CONUS. Bought it for canoe trips and my wife decided she doesn’t want to do canoe trips any more.

PM if interested.
