I picked up a Panasonic LUMIX LX100, but I’m trying to find the best way to carry/protect it while I’m on the trail. I’m using a zpacks arc haul with belt pouches, but they’re full of snacks, etc, and I’d like something with a bit of padding to protect my investment. I’d prefer something shoulder mounted, but that I could also just throw a strap on and put it over my shoulder for non-backpacking endeavors. Any recommendations?

Lowepro Dashpoint 20 is a great fit for my similarly-sized Sony RX100 plus small plastic case with polarizing filter. It has a variety of methods for attaching to the pack. On one of my bags, I added a tiny keychain carabiner to keep it from slipping. You’ll need to experiment to see what works best with your particular shoulder strap setup.
