Have you been watching the Weather Channel seeing the meteorologists in the rain with their rain ware on and wondering …..are they getting wet inside that jacket OR who makes that jacket they are wearing????

ANSWER: L L BEAN—– “We provide all of the outer wear for the Weather Channel. For rainwear, we provide the Storm Jacket, item 500008 for men and 500009 for women. These will not have the Weather Channel Logo and the L.L.Bean logo will be more subtle, but the jacket is the same.”

<span style=”font-size: large;”>Good test and marketing promotion if very positive DRY results were found.

for hurricane reporting, the reporter will only spend a few hours at most in the rain, not exercising vigorously. So that wouldn’t be a good comparison to hiking for many hours

It would be heavy rain and high wind which would be a good test – for backpacking most people would experience less.

Maybe this would be more marketing “you should buy our jacket because it withstands hurricanes”
