hi folks, I’m looking for current intel/information from anyone who has been on the Rae Lakes Loop trail in 2017. SEKI rangers are reporting that the foot bridge at woods creek is out and the creek is currently not passable. We have a permit for July 7-11, 2017. Please post other options out of Roads End, or nearby.
Thanks,
Tom Sabido

Jun 16, 2017 at 8:32 pm #3473738I just did Roads End to however-far-I-could-walk and made it to about 9k feet. Patches of snow really started about a mile above Junction Meadow though there are many small snow banks below that. All streams to that point are crossable, Charlotts Creek has a few logs lashed together somewhat upstream.
I look forward to reading your report!
