A lightweight jacket designed for active use in cold or variable weather, the Rab Strata Hoody is great for mountaineering, alpine climbing, mountain walking, and more. Highly breathable and water-resistant, it features a Pertex Microlight outer and 3 ounces of 80 g/m2 Polartec Alpha insulation. Plus, this version (updated in the winter of 2015) boasts some new additions that make it even more versatile. Along with a roll-down anti-snag Velcro tab, two YKK reverse-zippered side pockets, and Lycra-bound cuffs, it has a subtly quilted construction to reduce fabric movement and improve performance in the outdoors. The Strata Hoody weighs 18 ounces in the men’s large, and packs down into its own chest pocket.
