Hi,
I was wondering whether anybody has any experience with the Rab Strata Guide jacket, and has any idea on how it compares with the more famous Strata hoody, especially considering the fat it has a 120g/m2 of Polartec Alpha and not 80 as insulation.

I have one but have only used it 2 times around town since I got it a couple of weeks ago. To me it feels slightly warmer than a Nano Puff.  I’ve worn it outside at 30° for about an hour at night with a slight breeze with a short and a long sleeve poly t-shirt underneath and it only felt cold around the tops of my shoulders.  I have a Nano Air and a Strata jacket also.  I’ve used them for hiking in temps down to 20° so far with the same layers above.
