I’m sure most posters here are familiar with the Rab Xenon X.
What you may not be familiar with is the Rab Generator X jacket. Well the good news is the Rab Generator X is really nothing more than a renamed Xenon X. Same weight, insulation, sizing, build materials…everything is identical.

So what’s the difference? The Generator X is nothing more than the end result of an overrun of color materials from the previous year Xenon X. Rather than waste it, they just built more Xenon’s and relabeled them Generators so customers would not be confused about which is the current season.
Best of all, the Generator X can be had for around $100, or about half the cost of the Xenon X. Still not convinced? The Generator X clothing tags actually say Xenon X as well.
So if you ever wanted a Xenon, but are price adverse, the Generator X is the solution.
