The Uinta’s look like your nearest option. This award winning film starring the founder/owner of Z-Packs, Joe Valesko, might give you some ideas. Watch out for altitude sickness if you’re taking the highline. Diamox.
It’s a nice @ 4.5 hour drive to the WRR or similar to the Needles.

Lets hope the high temps get more inline with normal before then.
I’ll be headed that way tomorrow, but more hiking with temps above 105 has me tired already.
I’ll be starting very early and then having a cool drink with lunch at restaurant.
And read the hat threads, you’ll need a good one.
105 in Uinta? I think the temperature up the high country are a bit better. Am I missing something?
