Hurricane Harvey left Texas a mess, but the aftermath is very nice cool weather.
I am going to make a quick trip to Big Bend. I plan to hike Friday and Saturday and be back at the car by 10 AM on Sunday.  I do not know Big Bend well.
I’m looking for recommendations for a loop hike. I think The Chisos Basin Loop looks pretty good. Spend Friday night on the Soth Rim.
Any experiences to share?
Dang wimpy forum software.   How do I edit “Soth Rim”–> “South Rim” ?
That hike sounds like a good one for a shorty. You will like the views off the South Rim.
