I spoke with one of the owners yesterday and I asked her why inventory has been dwindling and she said part was due to tariffs, but they’re also going to retire. However, Jack from Chicken Tramper Ultralight Gear and 2 other dudes are going to take over the business and get inventory back up, as well as bring in a lot of new stuff. That’s good to hear because Questoutfitters has carried things like Easton poles that you can’t get at RSBTR or Dutchware. They’ve never sold fabrics lighter that 30D nylons, but they have a lot of components and materials you won’t find anywhere else. Big bargains for MYOG junkies on some items. The black 30D silnylon at $3.49 a yard is a fantastic deal…. quality sil/sil nylon with a good HH.
