I’ve been planning an Adirondack packrarft traverse for early October. This would have involved Opalescent River, Hudson, Goodnow, Indian River and Lake, and Hudson to Hadley-Luzerne. The beta I’m getting is that water levels are at all time lows and that even the big rivers may not be runnable. Can anyone comment specifically on the Hudson from Harris Lake to Goodnow and from Indian River to Hadley. If even these are rock gardens, it may not be worth bringing the raft.
