Pump Bags compatible W/REI Flashmattresses?

Today I got an REI Flash Insulated (3 season) mattress and small hand pump. IT took bout 30 pumps to get it fully inflated. Not bad but I think I had a “bag pump” I could use the bag for my sleeping bag or clothes.

So I may take the hand pump back and get a valve compatible dry bag pump like the Big Agnes (but not a BA due to its cost and large size).

What else works with REI valves?

The Sea to Summit Air Stream Pump Dry Sack works perfectly with the REI Flash sleeping pad.

Thanks guys. It looks like the Sea-to-Summit Air Stream bag, at 40 liters, is about the max size I want and it’s not too ‘spensive at $29.

So I’ll probably return the foam-filled REI hand pump. It takes a bit too long to fill the mattress – like around 30 pumps. Plus I’ll use the Air Stream bag for a dry bag, saving weight.

This is what’s good about this site, having some of the tribe’s knowledge right at hand.

BTW, this is my 1st air mattress and it is very comfortable. (Well, first aside from a promptly returned 1st gen. TR Neo Air.)

UPDATE: Ordered the Sea to Summit pump bag to be sent to my local REI store. Will be here by this Friday. Then I’ll swap the REI pump for the the StS bag.

Really liking this REI Flash mattress.

I once used an REI hand pump on my Nemo tensor 20r regular wide pad.
It fit the valve great and it only took 90 pumps!
Needless to say it went back to REI.

Good advice here.  Be advised that Big Agnes uses a proprietary valve on their mattresses.  The Pumphouse  sack only works on their products.   As was mentioned, the Sea to Summit and Exped products will both work on the REI pad.
