To my Canadian friends, call/email/tweet up the Ontario parks department and let them know their new pricing structure is BS and should not be adopted across all Ontario parks, as is the implied plan.
$45/day for a back country camp site?!?! you can get a crappy motel for that much. Ridiculous

Mar 15, 2021 at 3:33 pm #3704775High costs keep out the riff raff, is that the intent? I’m employing a bit of sarcasm here, if it wasn’t obvious. In a world full of people looking to get more interest drummed up folks who are having trouble making ends meet, it seems backwards to charge someone a ridiculous sum to bring in their own bed, hike to their sleeping place, and then get a worse night’s sleep than they’d get in said hotel.
What is reason (numbers?) behind the price hike?
