I can imagine a “poop fee” tacked on to a climbing fee in order to pay sherpas to pack out the poop and take it to – well, down to a large town the can handle it in their sewage system – IF they have one, that is.

I hate “wag bags” but I’ll grin and bear it if the venue is spectacular.  Otherwise I won’t go there.

Low poop diet.

Foods That Decrease Bowel Movements (Low-Fiber/Binding):
Refined Grains: White bread, white pasta, white rice, crackers, and refined cereals
.
Dairy Products: Cheese, milk, ice cream, and yogurt.
Meats: Red meat, pork, and processed meats (hot dogs, bacon) which contain no fiber.
Processed/Fried Foods: Fast food, chips, and fried foods.
Certain Fruits & Vegetables: Bananas (especially underripe), applesauce, and cooked, low-fiber vegetables.
Sweets: Cakes, cookies, and chocolate.  Johns Hopkins Medicine +5

They need a low poop, no smell diet. A whole different viewpoint on trail food. Leaving out the puns.

I did not need another reason to avoid Everest, but now I have one anyway. 😊
