He’s been a big part of the BPL community for a long time.
What happened????
Please bring the GGG man back — we need KEN!
I don’t think it would help to go into the details, but his account is suspended and I hope this is just a temporary thing.
Yes, please, Ken has done a lot towards making us a true community. I hope the powers that be can see their way to restoring his membership privileges.
Ken has been so involved in making this an actual community. His words over recent years may sometimes seem brash but I dare say he is generally articulating what many are feeling. I personally think putting these things out on the table is far healthier than pretending they don’t exist, particularly when the mouthpiece is someone whose heart is so obviously in the right place. It is members like Ken that keep online forums relevant and alive, and this community is a lesser place in his absence.
I have to agree. Ken is insightful, and adds a lot of content to the forums and the community as a whole.
+1 for Ken

+1, Ken is an institution. Â Additionally, Dave T. (who I also believed was banned?). Â Those two gentleman while a tad ornery, add a lot of color and value to the forum. Â My 2 cents.
Thanks for starting this thread Kat.
I had a feature request submitted and this might already be resolved.
Keep your hopes up

This thread is not meant to rehash or cause problems, just requesting that Ken be allowed back .
Yes, please bring back Ken.
We need Ken. Â C’mon!!!!! Â Puhleeeeeeeez!

+1, inclusivity wins 99%Â of the time, particularly when community spaces are owned outright by individuals.
Many of us here have hiked together after meeting at one of the gatherings put together by Ken. Some of us have become friends. Gear has been exchanged or gifted among hikers that met because of Ken. He has given rides to people that needed one to hike the Lost Coast. I could go on.
Yes, bring him back ASAP.
I for one have little tolerance for some of the nonsense on this forum, however, I totally agree that Ken should be allowed back on the forum!
