A person has reached out to BPL with an offer of some free gear to be delivered in San Antonio. The individual is no longer able to backpack and would like to offer the gear to a non-profit or to a person/couple that is interested in backpacking but could use a little help getting geared up. Gear includes pads, a couple backpacks, a stove, two MSR tents, dromedary bags, etc. It doesn’t sound like a full kit but it could be very helpful for someone getting started.
