Very cool! Thanks for sharing. One of the first formative experiences that cultivated a love of the outdoors was my first read of “My Side of the Mountain” as a kid. It lead me to save up my allowance for months to buy a pair of binoculars and a bird journal and subsequently forced my parents to drive me to Morro Bay, CA to see a nesting pair of peregrines.

Peregrines are one of the hopeful examples of how us humans can repair some of the many destructive things we have done to the natural world.  Wish there were many more examples.  Great and impressive birds for sure.  We named our organic farm Peregrine because of their resurgence not because we have any close by.
