Patagonia Baggies have long been my go to hiking shorts, but my wife hates them on me (she says they look like culottes. I’m not aware of any good alternatives but perhaps there is something out there that is similar but not as well baggy as the Baggies.
I prefer the nylon for the durability. Most alternatives seem to be polyester.
Baggies pockets are the best, so good pockets are a must.
Is there anything out there on the market that I’m not aware of?
I wonder how these fit compared to Baggies….

I’m a baggies fan, got my first pair in 1982! Sizing has gotten wonky llike all Patagonia stuff.
