I tried to replace the failing collar on my Pa’lante Joey (Black/Ultraweave) but alas the home sewing machine wasn’t grunty enough for the heavy duty work. The cost of repairing commercially is likely prohibitive, hence I’ll likely just purchase a replacement pack in the future.
The pack currently is non-functional, i.e., the collar has been removed, but the remainder of the pack is in good condition having been used for 3–4 weeks during it’s six month lifetime. I thought maybe the pack could be of some use to a MYOG’er, i.e., someone who is sewing their own pack and would like to attach the Pa’lante Joey running straps.
