Could tape it in several places along the length, so the two layers couldn’t slip relative to each other, no ?

If I tried to do it completely with tape, which tape would you recommend (for the MEMBRANE15 fabric) ?

Silk liner or custom (MYOG) one-piece silk pygamas (bright red!). 120 g
Keeps the drafts out too when it is cooler.

Cheers

The chair kit I have been trying out also serves as a pad cover (top and bottom). It’s heavy so I wouldn’t recommend it for just that. For afternoon naps or sitting up, it feels okay; not sticky when it’s warm.

Emailed ripstopbytheroll and they did not recommend using tape.

Mike from Zenbivy here.  Zenbivy makes a “Fast Sheet” that is only 3 ounces but allows a backpacking quilt to ‘tuck in’ on 3 sides.  Only a couple ounces heavier than the straps that come with quilts.

my merino wool leggings and shirt ARE my pad cover! Works great, and can be worn as clothes (wink) when you’re not on your pad.

Seriously though, the wool clothing keeps my skin out of direct contact with the pad materials.

I use a quilt, and this is my solution that works for me.

The Zenbivy cover with the down is pretty nice. Unfortunately my dog ate mine the first week I had it.

I wonder how a sheet would effect the insulation value of mats with various baffle designs.
