Packing for local conditions

This graph illustrates why it is sometimes a challenge to pack for a trip, even a short one, and be prepared for all conditions.  We got two feet of snow last week! The woods are now filled with huge piles of soggy wet snow. Dirt roads will be completely impassable by lunchtime today. The photo of me in snowshoes is from Friday, heading to minus 29F. Today it’s a tshirt and shorts.
