Just wanted to share that I just received my 10×10 30D silnylon tarp w/extra tie-outs and it’s great! The extra tie-outs are positioned exactly as I wanted them, and David even added mitten hooks where it made sense, without me asking.

Can’t wait to go out and try it out!

P.S.: I imagine SilNet is the best product for seam-sealing this material, right?

Edit: Just found a note inside which confirms I should use SilNet.

For those keeping track: the tarp weighs in at 527.4 g (18.6 oz) including 24 reinforced tie-outs and 2 mitten hooks (not yet seam-sealed). David lists this tarp as 18.5 oz (default) on his site; so considering mine has 4 extra tie-outs + 2 mitten hooks, I’d say he’s right on the money.

The included stuff-sack weighs in at 12.7 g (0.45 oz) and it’s generously sized (very easy to stuff tarp + cord + stakes in), for a total of 540.1 g (19.05 oz).

Stitching looks excellent.
