I don’t suppose anyone has both or either of these and could tell me about the “maximum comfortable” weight for them? I get the impression for the GGC2 it is about 12 kgs and a it is a (13-14 kgs) bit higher for the OT44. Both mostly weigh the same and are basically the same size. I currently use an Exos 38 for up to 3 days in warmish weather, but need some more space for cooler weather and bulkier gear plus more food, plus for a longer walk (3+ days). I cannot try on either pack, I am in the south east (rural) of Australia. The OT44 has adjustable torso the GGC2 has adjustable hip belt. Both are made in Asia. The Exos will take the 12 -13 kgs but space is limited. I know the GGC2 is more adjustable.
I am looking at start walk perhaps 11-13 kgs then decreasing over days. Any ideas around the two would be much appreciated. Thanks
