For Sale: Outdoor Research Helium AscentShell 3L jacket. Excellent Condition
This is OR’s more built version of their UL Helium Jacket. Jacket’s weight is 11.5oz (according to Backcountry’s item page), and is a great fast/light Alpine jacket. Two oversized hip pockets (accessible with a hipbelt or harness), two internal drop pockets, and large helmet-compatible hood. I took it through one winter storm and it held up great, though it likely needs a new DWR application.
It’s a regular fit with the ability to layer.
I love this jacket, it was my go-to shell for climbs up Mt Hood or as my emergency shell any trip above treeline. I’ve ended up accumulating a lot of shells and find myself reaching for it less and less, so it deserves a new home.
