Companion forum thread to: Oktoberfest in the San Jacinto Wilderness

I recently squeezed in a micro-adventure in the San Jacinto Wilderness, beginning in the town of Idyllwild, CA.  The intent was to have some good food

Thanks for sharing. Sounds like the perfect Oktoberfest.  especially the beer and apple sausages!

The area was one of my favorites when I lived in San Bernardino.  Spent many a night in the cabin atop Mt San Jacinto.  Loved it in the wintertime.  No people and no worry about water. It is a special place.

Nothing beats sleeping in a cozy hammock! That is relaxing with time and soaking it all in!!
