But I’ll add–I somehow thought I read somewhere on the forum that you’re not supposed to post links to products. Is this true? What are the rules on things like this? And where are they listed (link, please)?

Posting links to products is fine. The rules, such as they are:
— no posting to Ebay listings and such.
— if you’re posting to a product that you’re related to in any way, you need to disclose that relationship.
