Off trail ideas for northern sierras

I am looking to do a 5 day backpacking off trail/cross country loop in northern eastern sierras…ideally starting near Bridgeport/Lee Vining area or something on western side in Emigrant Wilderness. above average fitness level.  Was thinking starting from northern entrance of Sierra High Route at Upper Twin Lakes and doing some of that but then making going off that and doing a loop out of it.  Open to any and other suggestions.
