I came across the “Off the Farm” brand of bar at my grocery store a couple months ago for the first time, gave one a try, and it was delicious. Â Then I checked the numbers and I was very impressed.
Cookie Dough: 440 cal / 85 g: 5.2cal/g (147cal/oz)
Peanut Butter Chocolate: 410 cal / 85 g: Â 4.8cal/g (137cal/oz)
Cinnamon Roll: 400 cal / 85g: 4.7cal/g (133cal/oz)
Cashew butter is the main ingredient and they have a nice dense consistency reminiscent of Halva.
Off the Farm also has a line of “energy bars” which were also very tasty, but more reminiscent of ProBars and not as calorie dense as the “protein bars” at ~3.8 to 4.3cal/g.
So, no relationship with this company, just sharing a new food discovery. Â I ended up ordering sampler packs of both the energy and protein bars directly from the company.
