Thanks Doug. Â You would have thought I would have heard of these folks given my proximity…
Look like great UL packs.
Yes….I purchased one from Gear Swap a year or so back. It is a really fine pack, well made, comfortable. I wanted to use it on a recent 10 day hike but it was too much on the edge with a 750 CI bear canister. Without the canister it would have been absolutely great. It has clips on the bottom of the pack that when used with the side-compression cords, allow for an extremely versatile pack for shorter adventures. The hip belt is removable, the internal aluminum stays are removable. Day hikes to long trips, an extremely flexible pack.
I think the main compartment is about 35 liters or so, with another 10 or so in exterior storage. The hardware and cordage are nicely done. Of all the packs I’ve purchased over the years this one is in my top 10%. I’ve wondered why it doesn’t have more of a following with the UL community.
Thanks Russ.
I’ve talked to a few owners that are really happy with them.
Philip Werner over at Section Hiker did a review on that pack.
