Nice trip report. I enjoyed the short video clip of the sliding rock–crazy!
One of these years I want to go over Knapsack Col. How necessary were the Microspikes on Twins Glacier?
Great photos as well – looks like a really beautiful region.
Microspikes were not needed for Knapsack in August. Early season could be a different story.
For other glacier crossings they were essential.
