Directly outside the old boom-bust town of Fulford is the trailhead to Nolan Lake. From the abandoned cabins, saloons and hotels in town, to the old tailings, shafts and remnants from the 19th century throughout the adjacent mountainsides, this area holds a unique history of lost treasures and false hope.
