Are they worth revisiting?
I ask because I bought a cheap pair of Winflo for treadmill running, and I found the cheaper foam midsole more responsive than either my HOKAs or my new TOPOs. They seem to be ahead of the pack on foam technology even in their low end running shoes.
However, when I read reviews for their different trail runners, I found a lot of complaints about all of them being slippery on wet rocks. I know their newest line-up is moving to vibram, so are they worth checking out?
I mostly hike in the southwest. I like the cushion of the HOKAs and the wide toe box of Altras.
