This is a tarp dimension that’s nearly impossible to find. There are many available which are too narrow at 58″ wide and plenty of 7′ X 9’s or 8′ X 10’s, but to me the 6′ X 9′ is perfect solo size. I realize a lot of people prefer wider though. Tarp is priced right at $70 and weighs 7.9 oz. Made with 20D silpoly. https://yamamountaingear.com/products/6-x-9-tarp

Well that’s a trip. I woke up looking for a 6×9, cheap, relatively light tarp. Spot on. I really just want a negligible pathetic thing for the rare precip in my area. I am close to writing the concept off because there are tons of caves in the Great basin.
Borah makes almost identical tarp also. I have considered it but not sure 6′ wide is enough.
Yea Brad, I wasn’t aware that borahgear is now offering a wider solo tarp. For years it had been 68″ wide, but I guess they and Yama are now sourcing 73″ wide (usable) rolls. With double folded 1/2″ hems that leaves 71″. It’s a 5 week wait at borah whereas Yama has them in stock (black only). I like the dark olive option borahgear offers though. https://borahgear.com/tarps.html
