Do bears like grapefruit?
Nootkatone is a natural ingredient safe enough to eat, found in grapefruit, Fresca and Squirt sodas, and perfumes. Supposed to repel mosquito, ticks, fleas, and other insects better than DEET or picaridin and last just as long. Likely to be incorporated into soaps first. It’s been under development for a long time, EPA registration is a big step.
