I was inspired by Katharina :-) Got a camera in December and started taking pics and videos. Here is one of a fox that walked off with the paper dish that held it’s food. It’s a lid from a quart ice cream container. Looks like frizbee.

“… that walked off with the paper dish that held it’s food. ”

Please say you are not feeding backyard wildlife …

which camera?

yeah, don’t feed wildlife : )

I need to get a trail camera to see if there are rats in my compost pile

Ooops, yes, I did feed them to assist in the winter weather harshness as they do in Colorado and other states. . ;-)

No animals were hurt in the making of the videos. ;-)

How did I miss this?

Very cool!

Foxes are amazing little animals.

edit. For the record I don’t bait with any food or scent.

Question about these game/trail cameras:
How much do they weigh?
Is it practical to take one backpacking?
Thinking it might be fun to get pics of animals that may be visiting my camps.

thanks,
billy

Billy, they have weight but not too much for an extended 3 day weekender ;-)

I’ll get the weight of mine later today.
