Just received a sample of a new development from Contender Sailcloth.
They’re testing viability and market for getting into the recreational fabric game.
Their product would be a direct competitor of Dimension Polyant’s X-Pac(tm) X series of fabrics.
It is a tightly woven 330 Denier Cordura face with .75mil PET laminate backing.
Unlike X-pac fabrics, it does not contain the x grid(which many find superfluous at this weight of fabric).
Stuff looks and feels great! I’m currently building some packs utilizing it to run it through to product testers.
