i saw a few sites mentioning BA upcoming pads for 2018. An uninsulated one at 9oz and an insulated one at 10oz. The measurements were 72 X 20 X 3 for both.
Does anyone have more specs? Especially R values?

Insulated 10 oz? SIGN ME UP! Seriously though, I’m bout to buy an Xtherm for 149 so I’d like to know as well…
Thermarest seems to be clearing out xlite stocks too.
Yeah, I’d hold up and wait on an xtherm. Yep, I agree, they’re unloading the xlites. That’s the first thing I thought when I saw them on Massdrop.
I’m not sure the 10oz/insulated BA pad is a winter pad though. At those weights I was guessing the 9oz to have an R value around 1.5 and the 10oz one to have an R value around 3.3. I guess we’ll see. For now, I’ve been enjoying my Exped Synmat UL after using an xlite for 2.5 yrs.
I would be skeptical. Â The BA Insulated Air Core was rated at R4.1 but many found it cold as low as 40*F
