What does it weigh?
What kind of saw did you use to cut it?
Matt,
For you, I’ll weight it when I get home. But, I’m pretty sure you are far enough along the lightweight path that functionality (doesn’t burn lips like metal cups), durability and pack-ability take precedence over weight.
I cut it with one of these and then used a propane torch to melt/smooth the cut edge.

Nice call on flame polishing the edge.
I think we’ve got 4 or 5 unused nalgenes around here. Most were gifts from well-meaning family members and friends. I haven’t really thought about repurposing them.
We also have quite a few unused, or rarely used Nalgenes. Unfortunately, none were the right size so I had to spend $7 on Amazon prime.
It weighs 63 grams (2.2 ounces).
Nice Casey!
The measurements make a great bonus.
