On Ryan Jordan’s Field Notes, Winter Backpacking in Western Wyoming (Feb 2019) he wears Neoprene Overboots with eVent gaiters. The link in the gear list is dead. I’ve done a google search for this item but come up short. Any idea who makes them or where to buy them?

Love forty below! I have been wearing the light energy overboots for four seasons, snowshoeing, running, hiking. I use the calf length version that have integral gaiters personally but I could see the allure of a short pair with separate gaiters.

One of the best parts for me is that I can wear my cold weather trail running shoes (Goretex) under the overboots. At night I sleep with both my shoes and overboots in the bag, it’s a lot more comfortable than sleeping with a big old pair of winter boots. They dry quickly and are surprisingly warm while my feet never seem to “overheat” in them like bulky over insulated boots. I am good to around 20F with just that but purchased the neoprene insulation booties that work in conjunction with the overboots if it’s much colder.
Their camping booties are delightful in snowy conditions  as well…
