My buddy and I are driving to Glacier NP from Helena and I always like to include a National Forest trip when I go to a National Park. Sometimes they’re the best.
What’s a good overnight hike in Flathead National Forest? A few popular hikes I saw are too long. I’d love to do 5 days, but I have limited time. I’m thinking just an overnighter.
I also need to know about access to the trail. Will I need 4×4?
The trail list is huge and manh trails are very long so I’m hoping someone here can give some insight.
