I have a few of these Osprey dry sacks and they each have a pinhole. I’ve tried a few different methods to patch them and none seem to be sticking. Help!

I’ve tried the regular (clear) and sil-nylon Tenacious Tape and I’ve tried Aquaseal SR (it’s what I had) with a piece of the tape. My attempts include the sil-tape on the outside, regular tape on inside, and tape with aquaseal on the outside.

Why is nothing sticking?? Is there a cure time I need to account for? I didn’t wait more than a few minutes to check the tape. The one with the Aquaseal sat for about two hours before I tested it.

I just bought some tenacious tape.  Instructions say to wait 4 hours to let adhesive set.

I can’t tell but is your bag silnylon? It is hard to get anything to stick to that stuff. Silnet used to be something that did and Seam Grip will. I put some on the spot and some on a little patch cut from uncoated nylon material like an old shit and stick them together.

Agree with Bill B.  Especially because read thru the customer feedback, and it has to be that Osprey is selling two different products as the same.  Or possibly, the wrong fabric got into the manufacturing process.  Kudos to Bill, and suggest looking for a better product.  Now I understand why folks buy packs with the same type of closure as a down river dry bag, just to be absolutely sure their gear stays dry.
