I don’t ice climb or go camping in the winter. But I do live in Massachusetts and hate being cold outside. I’m trying a Rab Positron Pro and and a Mountain Equipment K7.
The Rab fits well, has a very good hood and feels good.
The K7 is an XL because another ME jacket was way too small in large. At first I thought the XL was too big because the sleeves were somewhat long. But when the Velcro cuffs are cinched up it’s fine. The overall fit is good and just a little roomy (but not dramatically). Both would be warm, though the K7 may be warmer because of more down.
How snug/in-snug should a parka be? Both seem to have plenty of room for adding layers.
I’d be grateful for comments and suggestions.
