True. I really do love this pack, and I was hoping that my next one would be one I made, but I’m a little ways away – and a prototype or two – from that happening. I’ve been pretty consistently carrying less than 30lbs at a time, but 2 quilts for a hammock take up quite a bit of volume. I guess seeing so many 2lb packs out there with 50L-60L volumes made me think I’m carrying more pack than I really need. But as long as the pack is comfortable and working for me – and it is – I know that’s what really matters.
