Naturehike has some new truly ultralight tents. I am not taking about their tents labeled “Ultralight”, because they are not. These newer tents have an EXT following the name. There is the Star Trail EXT 1 and 2, which are similar to the Nemo Hornets. There is also the Star River EXT 1 and 2 and the Cloud Up EXT 1 and 2. I ordered the Star Trail EXT 2 at a great price and will report back when it comes in. They are getting these weights by using 10D nylon with 1500mm waterproofing for the fly, 20D nylon with waterproof rating of 3000mm for the floor and 10D mesh for the body. They are just now just showing up in the market with best prices on Aliexpress. Looking forward to see how well these perform in the rain!
