Go to Jorgen Johansen’s “Gear and Techniques From the Arctic” to see my post of what I took on a recent solo ski/camping trip into the Spring Mountains north of Las Vegas. I camped at about 8,400 ft. with + 5 F. temps at night.
Jorgen’s article is very informative and his gear list is similar to mine. Naturally European gear is a bit different but still very similar to what is available to North American winter campers.
